ANTI-FIRE TACTICAL BARRIER: forest fires rapid interception tool

The novelty of the concept consists of a new fireproof transport vehicle that each firefighter can easily push around and deploy in the forest, and this vehicle will be part of the fire line, as it will hold together the fireproof fabric, so that firefighters can have at their disposal a new revolutionary tool to combat forest fires.

Firefighters will just have to stabilize the vehicle and pull the fiber while they are walking to the next vehicle, and then they'll just have to attach it to that vehicle. So, the deployment of the barrier will be made very quickly; 300 meters can be installed in less than 10 minutes, by a team of 8 trained firefighters. The distance between each fireproof vehicle is about 20 meters, depending on the fabric rsistance.

Besides, this is a reusable and removable barrier.

It will start to be possible to quickly deploy a large contiguous fireproof fabric barrier with about 4 meters high, and it is important to state that this barrier can be hundreds (or thousands) meters long, recurring to the number of vehicles that are available, and according to the diagnostic that firefighters command considers appropriate in each situation.

This invention is protected by a provisional patent application.
I have a second patent (also a provisional patent application) which allows a much bigger "wall" height but it losses in terms of deployment time. Makes sense that these two tools can work together, being deployed at the terrain in different types of grounds,

Financial information

I have recently shown 3 patented inventions at the Geneva International Invention Fair (April'14), and I was awarded one silver and another bronze medals. One of my inventions was also considered the best invention of the Fair besides being awarded the silver medal and this is the project that I’m hereby presenting. This invention proposes a new fire equipment tool which will revolutionize the way to fight forest fires and protect isolated houses.

I was very encouraged by the feedback that I got at the fair! Besides, several people told me that this tool would be particularly fit to protect homes in fire threatened areas, like for instance, the big mansions in Southern California.

I’ll welcome any kind of solution (patent sell, licensing, royalties or any other type of partnership, including orders).

All firemen and professionals that helped me in this project assured me that this is a revolutionary invention in forest fire fighting! It’s a radical new approach that really can work. But they also told me that it requires some investment to overcome the “proof-of-concept” stage, as it is got to be tested in real situations in order to be improved.

The reason the value is low is because this is a provisional patent apllication, whcih means that the buyer will have to convert the patent into a definitive one. The report that I got from the patent authority is highly favourable.
The previously referred second patent is the same price (20.000 US$).
