Wind Chime Teddy Potter
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a hanging plant potter. More
specifically, the present invention is a clear hanging plant potter which allows a user to
record and see plant growth. The present invention allows the grown plant to add a
decorative element to the hanging plant potter. Additionally, the pot has a wind chime
integrated into the design.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
There are several plant pots in which the grown plant becomes a decorative
aspect. However, there are none that address hanging planter pots. It is therefore an
object of the present invention to provide a hanging plant potter which allows a user to
record and see plant growth. The present invention allows the grown plant to add a
decorative element to the hanging plant potter and has a wind chime integrated into the design.DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is wind chime teddy potter. In the preferred embodiment,
the present invention is a plant potter made of clear plastic that is molded to be a teddy
bear. The top of the bears head is where the dirt and plants go. At that point whatever
plant is placed in the teddy potter gives the teddy potter the appearance of hair. The
present invention provides several different hairstyles depending on the species of plant
in the pot.
The same for the dirt in the potter with plants species requiring different soils you
can get a look between a brown or black bear for example. In the preferred embodiment,
the potter is made of clear plastic which allows the ability to watch for a healthy root
system of the plant. As the roots grow in the roots resemble fur making the teddy potter
look more realistic.
The present invention is a hanging potter as well with a small wind chime in the
center. It can be used indoors or outdoors the potter being large enough to accommodate
bigger plants but still able to hang indoors and not take very much room up. The
materials used are extremely light weight making it easier to move from place to place.
Additionally, in an alternative embodiment the present invention can be used just as a
sitting pot by simply removing the hanger.
There are other possibilities for additional characters as well. While the preferred
embodiment of the present invention is a teddy potter, the present invention may be in
several embodiments, such as a piggy pot, doggy pot, kitty pot, bunny pot, horsy pot and
ducky pot though not limited to these embodiments. There are many options of different
color schemes that can be chosen from.
In the preferred embodiment, the measurements of the teddy potter are: 10 inches
in height, 8 inches in length, and 8 inches in width. The length of the potter with the
hanger is 50 inches long. The hanger is crafted with no knots in the rope. The potter hasdrainage holes and pan to capture the excess water it also helps to keep moisture in soil
being hanging.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred
embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations
can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
