Simple and economic way of preparing electrolytes

Traditional ways of preparation of rhodium electrolytes are remarkable for their complexity and laborious processes. It is often hard to receive electrolytes with similar characteristics. Mainly these electrolytes are made on the basis of as-precipitated rhodium hydroxide Rh2O3 * 5H2O with the following multiple precipitation washing and filtration to remove chlorine ions and other unwanted ions. These technological operations extend the process and the finished electrolyte outlet percent is rather low.
Recently, due to rush of demand for jewelry and adornments with white shining rhodium plating the problem of fast preparation of big volumes of rhodium electrolytes to satisfy the growing market demand has become urgent.
The proposed way is based on using complex rhodium salt instead of rhodium hydroxide, and it is distinguished by its high efficiency, affordability and simplicity, as there is no necessity to operate multiple filtration and washing. It allows fast preparation of big volumes of electrolyte with hundred-percent outlet of the finished product relevant to the used raw.
This method has been tested during gold adornments, and the received quality did not differ from the quality of appliance of proprietary sulfate electrolyte.
