A total perimeter view auto security monitoring system which includes a pair of fixed viewing lenses at each corner of a vehicle, a central digital camera receiving optical data from all corners of the vehicle, a multiplexer to separate the data channels in real time, and a hard disc drive for recording the data.

This patent shows a 360 degree arrangement of cameras to be integrated into the four existing electrical housings used for headlights, DRL's, reflectors, brake lights, back up lights, emergency blinkers, and running lights to document all activity around moving vehicles. Each edge of vehicle to contain two cameras. Uses include 1) Collisions, 2) Road Rage, 3) Hit-and-Run, 4) Vandalism, 5) Theft. Surveillance system has equivalency to secured buildings used by business, government, and residential. Documentation to punish and deter. Full time run, no video terminal, solid state drive mated into EDR. No manufacturer offers any OEM surveillance system. Minimizes law enforcement reports, witnesses, insurance company forensic investigations, adjudication by county court systems, attorneys fees, and lost wages during litigation.
