SEMPIOLHO-Anti-Louse and Hair-loss treatment
[Category : - OTHER- CHEMISTRY- HEALTH]
[Viewed 2626 times]
Head lice infestation (pathology = PEDICULOSIS) is spread most commonly by close person-to-person contact. Dogs, cats, and other pets do not play a role in the transmission of human lice.
The louse is a parasitic insect that can be found on the head, eyebrows, and eyelashes of people, especially those under the age of 16 years. Head lice feed on human blood several time a day and live close to the human scalp. Head lice are not known to spread disease. They may however be disease vectors. This means that other pathogens (creatures that cause disease) may live inside of them. Hence, when the louse bites into the skin of the head, these pathogens enter the human body. These pathogens are typically of the Borrealis species etc.
Presently lice infestation is treated with lindane, which is the marketing name for chlorinated benzene, a pesticide and pyrethrin which is also a pesticide. Pesticides are well-known to cause cancer (they are carcinogenic) and as such the use of these chemicals should be avoided.
Sempiolho is a low toxic formulation for the treatment of the infestation of the head with lice. In addition, it also stops hair-loss which at times is associated with lice infestations.
