90% of the accidents occurs major one of human errors.
More than 100,000 people die in accidents each year and an equal number are critically injured as a result of drivers dozing off at the wheel. Most of the accidents on highways occur due to the driver being subjected to long hours of continuous driving. This exhausting and monotonous job often makes the driver dull and dozy. This stat of the driver is very dangerous and can lead to fatal accidents. “Wireless sleep Alert alarm” responds to the stat of the driver & Signalman well and increases safety of both the driver and the vehicle. A great savings in human life and financial loss could be realized by device that helps effective avoidance of accident due to driver's sleepy stat. This system detects a driver's nodding and provides a warning with sound to alert the driver and eliminate the possibility of driving while getting sleepy. An estimated 100,000 people are killed every year and many more seriously injured where a driver has fallen asleep at the wheel. According to the reports drowsy driving causes more than 100,000 crashes a year, resulting in 50,000 injuries and 2,550 deaths. As tragic as these numbers are, they only tell a portion of the story. Drowsy driving is all too common, especially among young men aged 25 and under. Night workers who rotate their schedules are also at high risk. Others at risk include people who regularly drive long distances and those who have sleep disorders. The highest risk times of day for drowsy driving accidents to occur are in the mid-afternoon and overnight hours. Statistics also show that normalized accident rates vary during the course of the 24-hour day and mirror daily human alertness patterns. Accident rates have a peak in the mid-afternoon, when alertness dips, and an even higher peak in the overnight hours between 2 and 6 a.m., when alertness is at its lowest point of the day.
