We have developed an oil filter wrench, which is designed for the automotive “do it yourself” client and the professional oil changing industry. At the present time, we are looking for potential licensee(s) who would be interested in licensing, manufacturing and marketing the “Alex Wrench” patent number US6431032B1.

The main problem with almost all of the oil filters on the market currently is that they are very difficult to use in very tight spaces. Most automobiles only have a few inches of manoeuvrability to loosen the oil filter. The current tools come with a long vertical handle which is impossible to position and use. The current tools take a lot of time to fasten and adjust and in most attempts fail to grip the oil filter.

The distinguished claims on our wrench are that the “U” shaped handle and self-adjusting band designed for ease of use and extensive manoeuvrability compatible with almost all automobile oil filters. The U shaped handle is adjusted both horizontally for the innovative use and can be used vertically in the more traditional less effective method used by most oil filter wrenches.
