There is a need for privacy in the event that a rest room stall lock is not functioning due to a door not properly hinged or the lock broken. Without a portable and temporary lock, the door can be partially opened exposing the occupant. With this invention, the rest room stall portable and temporary lock provides a means to lock the stall door to the frame making the user more comfortable and secures the occupant from exposure and placing the occupant in a vulnerable position for a purse or valuables to be stolen or robbed. This device is inexpensive to manufacture. It can be sold internationally as well as hardware stores, on the internet, and at stores like Target, K mart, or Wal-mart to name just a few.
My wife used this device in New York City! She told me that all the rest room stalls were broken and the doors were exposing the occupants except for her because she had in her possession the portable restroom stall lock! It is a must have device!
