LatherLogic Smart Shower Dispenser with Eco-PCR Pouches

[Category : - Bathroom]
[Viewed 52 times]

LatherLogic is a patent-pending smart shower dispenser system that hangs from a standard shower head and replaces loose plastic bottles with precise, automated dosing from compact eco-PCR gel pouches. The unit suspends below the shower fixture and stabilizes against the wall, keeping it at eye and hand level with no drilling or permanent hardware, so it is friendly for renters, hotels, and retrofits.

Inside the housing, several separate pouch bays each feed a small pump line (for example: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face wash). On the front of the unit, a simple interface lets the user choose which product they want and their preferred “lather level.” Once selected, LatherLogic automatically dispenses a consistent, metered amount of gel every time, so the user is no longer guessing how much to squeeze from a bottle.

The invention addresses three common problems in showers: clutter from multiple bottles, wasted product from over-pouring, and the environmental impact of single-use plastic containers. By concentrating multiple products into one compact hanging unit and using thin eco-PCR pouches instead of rigid bottles, LatherLogic reduces plastic mass and shipping weight. Quick-swap pouches slide and lock into place at the bottom of the device, so changing products is clean and fast—similar in ease to inserting a coffee pod, but with far less packaging per use.

Compared with existing technologies, LatherLogic offers several benefits:

Versus loose bottles: It clears the ledges and tub edges, looks more organized, and prevents half-used bottles from accumulating. Dosing is automatic and repeatable instead of guesswork.

Versus simple wall dispensers: Many current multi-chamber dispensers mount rigidly to the wall and rely on manual pumps. They typically do not hang from the shower fixture, do not meter dose by user-selected lather level, and do not center the concept on thin, replaceable eco-PCR pouches. LatherLogic integrates hanging hardware, controlled dosing, and pouch-based product supply in a single system. And no messy refilling.

Versus eco packaging alone: Some brands offer gels in lighter packaging but leave dosing and storage to the consumer. LatherLogic combines the packaging approach with a dedicated device that optimizes how much product is used and where it is stored, enabling households and hospitality operators to track usage more predictably and potentially connect to subscription or auto-reorder programs.

The system is suitable for both home and hospitality markets. Families gain a cleaner shower and reduced spending on gels because product is not wasted; hotels, gyms, and rentals can standardize how much product guests receive, reduce restocking labor, and demonstrate visible plastic-reduction efforts. A future connected version can add app or smart-home integration for tracking pouch levels and triggering reorders, but the core invention—the hanging dispenser, quick-swap eco-PCR pouches, and user-selected metered dosing—functions without needing an external device.

LatherLogic is protected by U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/846,267 and is available for licensing, co-development, or sale of rights to a partner with manufacturing and distribution capabilities in bathroom hardware, personal care, or hospitality supplies.

Financial information

I am primarily seeking a licensing arrangement with royalties (exclusive or non-exclusive by territory or channel), but I am also open to discussing an outright sale of all rights for an appropriate lump-sum payment. My goal is to hand the project to a company that can manage engineering, manufacturing, certification, and marketing; I do not intend to operate a hardware or CPG business myself.

The invention has not yet been sold or marketed as a commercial product. Work to date includes concept development, CAD design, packaging exploration with suppliers, and a filed U.S. provisional patent application (No. 63/846,267). No units have been manufactured for sale and there is no existing distribution or revenue.

Market potential is significant because LatherLogic sits at the intersection of three large, growing areas: bathroom hardware, liquid personal-care products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.), and sustainable/“refill” packaging. The system is designed to drive recurring sales of compatible eco-PCR pouches, so it can support a razor-and-blades or subscription model in both consumer and hospitality markets.

I do not have rigid conditions for a deal beyond a fair valuation of the IP and clear allocation of responsibilities. I am open to licensing by geography, channel, or application (e.g., consumer vs. hotel use) and would be willing to provide reasonable support during handover.

Associated assets include the LatherLogic brand name and logo currently in use, plus the public website at Link
, which presents the concept and could be further developed by a partner if desired.
