One finger Computer mouse
[Category : - DESIGN PATENTS]
[Viewed 29 times]
This device is first of all a mouse but it is warn on the finger like a long thimble and can be fully operated with only one finger.
The roller for scrolling is at the front top so in order to use it you need to bend your finger in the same way you would do if you wanted to scroll with a normal mouse and the lower front part is free to strike the occasional key on the keyboard
The IR motion sensor lamp can fit inside, in front of the finger and the two buttons for left-right click are located under the fingertips . The main body touches the surface and in order to press the buttons you just have to tilt your finger accordingly (left or right). At the top there is no space limitation so you can make it thicker in order to fit the battery and circuits and the USB port.
Inside the tube and under the fingerprints you can inset a touch transmitter that can transmit the bumps of the braille system to the finger-tip with electrical signals. A program to translate the text into Braille is already available , if I understood correctly, so as you move your finger the cursor moves respectively and you feel the Braille letters, located under the cursor, and read!
It is easy to use ( no training needed), portable and durable due to its shape.
