The Shadey is THE exciting new, must-have product for anyone who uses a mobile device while relaxing in the sun. Whether it be for beside a pool, on a cruise ship, lying on the beach, or even relaxing at home in your garden, the Shadey is destined to become every mobile device using, sun-lovers new best friend!

Like lots of great ideas, this one stemmed from a personal inconvenience that we’re pretty sure most people can relate to. Born out of observing people struggling to view their mobile devices while trying to relax by a pool on holiday, the SHADEY is an innovative solution to a problematic modern phenomenon!

Research demonstrates that most people tend to sit on a sun-lounger laying on their backs facing the sun and that most sun loungers tend to be positioned at an angle of 30 - 45°. The problem with this when it comes to using a mobile device however, is that the surface area of the device is not large enough to provide the necessary barrier between the user, the device and the intense sunlight. Put more simply, when sitting in this position, sunlight is able to pass around the sides or over the top of a mobile device and penetrate the eyes, making it far from easy to see. This was our starting point!

After hours of planning, designing, testing and refining ideas and prototypes, we finally achieved our vision and The Shadey was born!

Fusing the philosophy of a collapsible handheld fan with the latest technical aspects of a suction cup, the SHADEY is brilliantly designed to tackle the universal frustration of trying to see a screen clearly while facing direct sunlight. Rather than just enhancing the screen however, the Shadey has been skillfully created to actually prevent direct, blinding sunlight from penetrating the eyes of the user

The Shadey attaches securely to the back of most mobile devices using suction technology and splays open to provide the ideal sized fan shape barrier of shade needed in order to protect eyes from damaging UV rays and enhance the whole experience of using a device in the sun.

Durable to the max whatever life throws at it, the Shadey's suction can hold the weight of any device without detaching and is only released when the arm lever is pulled down. Ease of usage is enhanced further by the compact, collapsible design which allows the product to be folded up to fit into a pocket or small bag when travelling

Honestly - We just don't have the time to market and run the business in the way it should be run. You could potentially sell millions of Shadeys through promotional campaigns (Netflix and Disney have previously ordered for their campaigns).
