The invention relates to a current breaker comprising a circuit breaker housing (1) in which a switch insert (2) is screwed by a thread (8). By accepting the turn-on/off button (6) and by its turning left/right, the insert (2) is raised or lowered in the housing of the circuit breaker (1), thereby providing or interrupting contact between the contact at the bottom of the switch insert (3) and the contacts on the housing of the circuit breaker (4). The contact at the bottom of the switch insert (3) is an integral part of the switch insert (2), whereas the contacts on the circuit breaker housing (4) are fixed to the sole housing of the circuit breaker (1). The thread (8) is of a big pace so that the contacts are provided or interrupted by a small turning of the turn-on/off button (6).
