The invention relates to a safety lock and geared arm, wherein the actuation of the key allows the cords or tensioners to be moved in opposite positions, which allows the metal arm to transmit this movement to the tube with internal gears, such that it slides on the smooth or geared part of the other tube, thereby allowing the gradual movement, opening or closing of the door, providing greater safety.
