Elevator Emergency Kit (E.E.K.)
[Category : - OTHER- Life-saving; Fire-fighting- DESIGN PATENTS]
[Viewed 1135 times]
The Elevator Emergency Kit also known as (EEK). My product was develop to assist person(s) while stuck in an elevator for an extended period of time. The EEK is patent pending, as I have all right to the product and idea at this time. The kit is equipted with multiple supplies that can and are a nesseaity when trapped and waiting for hours at a time for the electricity to come in or public servants to arrive. Over 500,000 people a year are stranding in an elevator, with no water, light, first aid, a place to urinate and other essential need while help is in the way.
Emergency Kit are found is buses, training, cars, office space, boats and airplane, so why would there not be an Elevator Emergency Kit mandate in a space that statistically trapes people at a higher rate. Currently I'm am elevator they are equip with a call button, but if someone is hurt, first aid, can see, needs to urinate, needs water or in harms way of a fire, there is absolutely nothing that can be done immediately.
For business owners, it is not just the safety of the guest, but can lead to high costly repairs if forced open. Trying to keep the guest feel safe, comfortable while an elevator technician arrives instead of having the door forced open could ultimately save the company thousands of dollars in repairs.
An elevator emergency kit device is disclosed that provides the necessary items for a person who is trapped in an elevator to survive. The elevator emergency kit device comprises a body component that is configured in a rectangular, box-like shape that contains a cavity for storing a plurality of emergency items and a lid that secures to the body component. The plurality of emergency items can include, but is not limited to, bottles of water, first aid items, a flashlight, a urine pouch with a screw-type lid, a power bank for charging cell phones, sugar and sugar-free candy, etc. Generally, the body component is secured to a wall of the elevator, either directly or by being inserted into a small, plastic box secured to the elevator wall.
Financial informationI am looking for a licensing deal for this product. A company or person that has more connections to launch this idea and product.
There are more then 1 million elevator, and since safety is a top
Priority in the United States. I believe eventually these will be acquired in all elevators.
To gain the most financially, would be a company that went and had it mandated by OSHA.
This product and idea has been submitted under my name with the US patent office.
I am open to a buyout if the numbers were correct.
