The Heads-Up Impact Sensor™ is the only patented sports impact detecting sensor that has multiple applications reaching all sports industries to include these sports, but not limited to: a football sensor, a hockey/lacrosse sensor and the ONLY impact indicating detection device sensor for non-helmeted sports (it can be incorporated with headbands and goggles) to detect impacts to the head or helmeted area that were potential strong enough to cause a concussion.

An impact indicating detection device designed to utilize accelerometer “g” force sensitivity to activate a visual indicator when an individual receives a hit or blow to the head area and/or to the helmet or helmet area. Should the hit to the head or helmeted area reach the specific and pre-determined g-force ratio then an LED lights are activated (and starts flashing colors) to alert the coach, official/ref, trainer or parent that the player needs to be immediately removed from play and analyzed for a potential concussion.

The uniqueness of Heads-Up Impact Sensor™ will be to achieve a more accurate “g” force rating sensor that has the ability to re-set itself once the sensor becomes activated, so it may be utilized multiple times.

The Heads-Up Impact Sensor™ is the first and only non-helmet impact sensor which can attach itself to headbands and goggles sports equipment products to monitor the possibility of potential impacts that may cause a concussions for sports such as soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, basketball, cheerleading, and etc.

The primary emphasis is in the detection of impacts that may cause a concussion and in the reduction of second impact that may cause a concussion, in youth sports.
