Description: The project is intended to develop Nano particulate systems that can efficiently load and release anticancer drug epirubicin hydrochloride by solvent evaporation method.
The present invention is focused on to provide a novel cancer cell targeting system that combats breast cancer with minimal side effects.
More particularly the invention relates to Solid Nanoparticles loaded with an anticancer drug Epirubicin and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and process of preparation of said nanoparticles.
The object of the invention is to provide a novel drug delivery system to treat cancer patient more particularly breast cancer patients.

Benefits : The solution form of epirubicin offers a wide range of serious side effects. Further the solution form of said drug leads to harm to the normal cells of the human body, these side effects may be avoided by administering the solid nanoparticles as discussed in this invention.
