The “Standby” system has caused a huge contradiction, by making life easier for users it has created an unprecedented energy problem. Remote controlled devices, once turned off, continue to consume energy to keep the receiver and other circuits running, being fed with energy that ultimately goes nowhere, so it is wasted. For a year, the device could have consumed more energy in standby mode than during the time the device was connected.

To solve this problem and eliminate the standby mode by completely connecting or disconnecting the device in use, I introduce the following patent, recently registered in the Spanish Patent Office with International protection

This new Standby circuit does not consume any energy, only when the remote control is acted upon the receiver on/off, it physically connects or disconnects from the power supply, in addition to being able to interpret other signals such as channel change, etc. It is also important to note that it can deal with multiple channels, and not interfere with other devices, it is ensured that when the device is turned off, it is physically disconnected from the network.

Of course, it goes without saying that the device does not contain any kind of built-in battery that can be recharged while the device is in use.

This new patent is based on technical studies and a large number of tests carried out over several months, many of which produced results that were considered inadequate for their environmental impact, a factor that has been taken into account. The method used to achieve a zero energy consumption circuit is based on light energy patterns.
