The idea was to enhance the protection against non-destructive method-lockpicking for the with sidepins operated cylinder lock. The person trying to manipulate the sidepin gets haptic and acustic feedback, which is sufficient to distict between false gate and true gate. This happens when the sidebar on false gate position press the sidepin on the wall stiff. With the true gate position stays sidepin, because of tolerancies, loose. So the main aim of the invention was to reduce/prohibit that feedback.
The idea, drawing as attachment, brings instead of one element-sidepin, two elements, sidepin A as coding part and sidepin B as decoupling part.
