An adjustable pet waste scoop includes a handle shaft and a scoop shaft connected in a telescopic configuration, such that the overall length of the device is adjustable.
There are several advantages:
1) One hand is used to scoop up the waste while standing, no bending down.
2) Easy to use to clean up a yard with several days of waste. (I clean up my yard in minutes with the prototype)
3) No need to use a hand in the bag to collect the waste.
4) The length of the handle can be adjusted.
5) Easy to carry while walking and might offer some protection if needed.
6) A plastic bag can be inserted through the scoop or attached at the back.
7) The scoop will hold more than one waste.
8) The waste can be collected without a bag attached and placed into a sack or another collection container should plastic not be used (Environmentally friendly)
It is estimated that 70 million people in North America have dogs for pets and this increases up to 90 million in Europe. All animals have droppings. Foxes, Coyote, Racoon and Goats have similar feces like dogs. In small amounts those droppings are unlikely to cause a health problem, but if these are left to linger, or left in an enclosed space, or the buildup is extensive, it can lead to problems for your property and your health.
While walking, pet owners have the responsibility of disposing of any waste left behind by their pet. About a quarter of dog owners fail to pick up waste while walking their pets because this is an unpleasant experience when using their hand to pick it up.
Pet owners must also clean up pet waste from their own yards and property. This tool makes this task simple, easy and fast.
