A leak detection device that detects leaks of an electrically conductive substantive between any installed device and any mounting surface upon which the installed device has been placed such that the leak detection device is disposed between the installed device and the mounting surface such that when the conductive substance completes an electrical circuit between a first detection conductor and a second detection conductor disposed on the substrate a circuit is completed to allow a leak detection alarm signal to be operatively communicated to an alarm generating device.
As opposed to a point leak detector, this device provides a very wide area of detection and has been adapted to a battery powered alarm for under toilets, sinks, dishwashers, etc., as well as a shutoff device for AC units or other devices that have leaks. It can be remote mounted and also pigtailed into multi sensor systems.

This device can save property owners from the expense of water extraction, replacing drywall, carpeting and other flooring products. In apartment and condo buildings it saves more that it costs in the first year, then saves year after year after installation.
This has been marketed and sold to individual property owners as well as apartment complexes and major distribution outlets MARS, HOME DEPOT PRO, HD SUPPLY, and ACE Hardware to name a few.
I would like to license or sell the product to someone or a firm that has the ability to follow up this beginning properly and expand the sales to the national market. There are four (4) products currently developed for the markets indicated. Also, this product can easily be made into a smart product.
The market is huge and the big sensor presents a much better situation for detecting leaks.
