A bird feeder umbrella assembly for keeping bird seed in a bird feeder dry includes a pole that includes a first portion which slidably engages a second portion. A support foot is coupled to the pole to engage the ground for retaining the pole in a vertical orientation when the pole is inserted into the ground. A plurality of hooks is each coupled to and extends laterally away from the pole. A sleeve is coupled to the pole and the sleeve is aligned with the pole. A bird feeder is removably suspended from a respective one of the hooks for feeding birds. An umbrella is insertable into the sleeve having the umbrella extending over each of the hooks to protect the bird feeder from precipitation thereby inhibiting the bird feed from getting wet, clumping, spoiling and clogging feeding ports thus having to throw away wasted seed and clean out feeders. Provides a dry place for birds to feed and also provides them shade. Protects feeders from damaging uv rays and prevents the spread of salmonella poisoning which grows in wet bird feeders and kills thousands of birds annually. Umbrella is removeable in periods of extremely high winds. This is a charming, very attractive and unique addition to any landscape and it works.
Financial informationI am looking to sell the patent rights or to enter into a licensing agreement. This invention has not been previously sold or marketed. The home birdfeeder seed industry is a 2 billion dollar per year industry with over 57 million people using feeders. This is an upgrade to existing feeders which all bird feeding enthusiasts should love.
