A Machine Learning based (ML-based) system (104) for generating summaries of text documents is disclosed. The ML-rnbased system (104) is configured to: (a) obtain first data associated with the text documents from a database (228), (b) preprocess the rnfirst data associated with the text documents, by a natural language processing (NLP) model, (c) extract second data associated with rnone or more key terms, from the preprocessed first data associated with the text documents, by the NLP model, (d) analyze third data rnrelated to one or more patterns and rules in the text documents, based on the second data associated with the key terms, by a machine rnlearning (ML) model, (e) generate summaries of the text documents, based on the third data related to the one or more patterns and rnrules, and (f) output the summaries of the text documents to the users (102) through a user device.
