The devise is a small and handy threading aid for those small fly fishing hooks where the hook eye is very small and so is the tippet (Fishing line). This devise enables fly fisher men/women to thread the hook under difficult ambient conditions such as poor light, heavy winds, very cold temperatures, in a small boat that is unstable as well as if you have shaky hands or reduced eyesight.rnThe fly hook is held in place by a magnet and the tippet (fishing line) is guided to the hook eye through a funnel that has an opening of approx. one cm. The funnel can be closed for threading and opened by twisting an outer collar so as to release the threaded fly fishing hook. The devise has a hole for a lanyard and is approx. 5cm long and 1.5cm wide at the widest point. There is also a nipper embedded in the devise for cutting the tippet (fishing line) after the hook is tied.rnThe devise has an expected weight of about 7-8 grams.
