Des. 395,249 TAKE-APART FRAMING SQUARE a new tool that makes the carpenter's framing square portable; because it can be taken apart and fit in smaller tool boxes. Therefore; does not do damage to other equipment. US D593,885 S RULER a new tool used to connect (L) shaped and straight pieces of the take-apart framing square. This ruler has a taper to fit the grooves on the take-apart framing square. Now I have installed a ball and detent system to snap the pieces together. Located and centered one inch in from each end of grooved area of (L) and straight piece.
