FLOATING ANCHORED HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT
[Category : - RENEWABLE ENERGY]
[Viewed 461 times]
The invention relates to a hydroelectric power plant for using a water flow comprising a continuous moving belt, on which a plurality of blades is attached in such a way that said blades can be folded over. The moving belt is guided around at least two deflection points in such a way that two rows of blades moving in opposite directions during operation are provided. At least one of the two rows of blades is oriented at an inclination with respect to the direction of the water flow. At the deflection points, the blades are folded over from a first blade position into a second blade position or from the second blade position back into the first blade position.
Advantages of the invented hydroelectric power plant:
- easy to construct
- niche in renewable energy
- Environmentally friendly as this is attached and anchored to a platform and does not disturb ecosystems
- four times cheaper than hydroelectric power plants
- easy to maintain as the generator is installed on the platform
- can be installed with generators from 10 kW to 2 MW
- high efficiency, because of mirror symmetry
- does not need marketing as the electricity WILL be sold to the energy companies
- it is the only one that can be used in seas in the mega-watt range
- Can be used in rivers with a flow rate of 0.5 m/s or more
- Use of an accelerator that accelerates the water speed to 5 m/s
- can be installed behind existing hydroelectric power plants where the flow speed is over 2 m/s
- The hydroelectric power plant is mirror-symmetrical and can be used in rivers and oceans with low water speeds from as little as 0.5 m/s.
- With the accelerator, the water speed can be multiplied depending on the spatial location (e.g. in the case of oceans, the accelerator increases the water speed from 0.5 m/s to 4 m/s).
- The hydroelectric power plant is easy to construct in any size and can be built with a capacity of up to 2 MW. The hydroelectric power plant is the only one that can be installed in seas in the mega-watt range.
