Transmission of electricity through a single pipeline with water

[Category : - ELECTRICITY & LIGHTING]
[Viewed 652 times]

It is proposed to implement a project for a system of extended transmission of electricity through a single wire, which is a plastic pipeline filled with distilled water. In this system, energy is transferred as the energy of an electromagnetic wave propagating in a dielectric wire.
Such a power transmission system, compared with the well-known three-phase transmission system, has significant economic advantages if the transmission line is extended (which is typical for countries such as China, India, Australia, USA, etc.)

Available:
1) theoretical proof of the existence of a cylindrical wave in the form of a new solution of Maxwell's equations (by analogy with the one proposed in the book "Inconsistency Solution of Maxwell's Equations. Version 19, pp. 1–378, Link )rn• scheme of experimental proof of the existence of such a solution,
2) project of technical implementation,
3) draft patent application.

Theoretical forecast.
Below are some simulation results. The figures show some of the characteristics of such a device
1) dependence of transmitted Power, on Frequency and current density,
2) dependence of Efficiency of the device from the Frequency.
On fig. 1 shows the characteristics at a fixed pipe radius 50 cm as a function of current density (5, 10, 15 A/sq. mm). This density affects the size of the cooling system in the power transmitter and receiver, i.e. for their volume.
On fig. 2 shows the characteristics depending on the pipe radius (25, 50, 100 cm) at a fixed current density of 10 A/sq.

About device.
The high-frequency converter is a copper cylinder with a complex internal structure, through which a high-frequency alternating current flows. Some simple analogy is shown in Fig. 3.
This cylinder is connected to a generator of this current. Some analogy of such a generator with a cooling system is shown in Fig. 4. The generator shown there is rated for 120 kW and 100 kHz.
