Pheromone compositions comprising a combination of squalene, linoleic acid and 1-docosanol are described, along with methods of using the pheromone compositions to modify behavior in mammals. The compositions are useful for behavior modification in mammals that exhibit undesirable or harmful stress-related behaviors like excessive barking, marking/urinating, fighting, biting, scratching, issues adjusting to new environments and to other companion animals. The patented Technology consist of a device that can be worn by the mammal as a collar or an ear tag or it can be a solid strip hung in close proximity to the mammal. The pheromone active will release from the collar, ear tag or solid strip over a period of time for up to several weeks. The patented Technology is designed to release the active pheromone from the device then carry it through the mammal's fur to the body causing the pheromone to melt from body temperature then penetrate through the mammals epidermis layers. The patented Technology can also be formulated into a liquid that can be diffused from a wall plug-in to emit the pheromones for inhalation resulting in the same effect as the solid devices. The mammals that the Technology is directed towards includes but are not limited to: cats, dogs, wild dogs, pigs, wild boars, horses and more.

Financial information

Looking to license my patent with royalties or outright sell. Products like dog & cat collars, pheromone hanging strips and pheromone diffusers were all previously being sold on the market by Sergeant's Pet Care Products, Inc. (Sentry HC, Vetscription, Meridian & AfriVet) for several years until they were bought out by a new business. Products from my patent did generate good revenue for Sergeant's. There's already a big market for the products that's covered by my patent and growing!
