The present invention relates to a multipurpose alert system for smoke, fire, natural gas, and/or carbon monoxide specially designed for elderly and hard-of-hearing individuals. The multipurpose alert system of the present invention is capable of sending emergency alerts notifying a user or other family members not living at the same residence.
