If the developers knew how to make a working commercial fusion reactor with a continuous operating principle, they would make one in 2 years because the design is simple and inexpensive and it will work. When scientists learn the principle of such a reactor that I propose, they will immediately understand how it should work and that this is a design that will produce commercial heat.
I have a solution on how to make a commercial fusion reactor in two years. And a small prototype to prove the physical effect and demonstrate excess heat production can be done in six months. And I can even help start up any existing TOKAMAKA type reactor in a few seconds within a year with excess heat power.
From the physics reference books the calculated plasma temperature in the first tokamak was about 11 000 000 K. Why has the plasma temperature exceeded 100 000 000 K in the latest reactor models? And in Tri Alpha Energy, the line reactor has an ignition temperature of about three billion degrees Celsius!!! And Tri Alpha Energy also does not have a working commercial fusion reactor. 11,000,000 K and 3,000,000,000 degrees Celsius! There is something wrong with the understanding of controlled fusion here. As a result of this misunderstanding, a commercial fusion reactor has not existed for over 70 years. Scientists' theoretical understanding of the physical processes in a commercial fusion reactor is correct. A working thermonuclear device in the form of a thermonuclear bomb is known. Based on its principle of operation, a scientific model of thermonuclear fusion in the core of the Sun has been built. Based on the understanding of fusion in the Sun's core, fusion reactors of various designs are being developed. We can say, in principle, theoretically and practically everything is right and good. But so far, in the long history of production, a working commercial fusion reactor has not been made. Why not?
In the late 1980s, while studying hundreds of publications on nuclear fusion and fusion reactors, I realized that nuclear fusion in the Sun occurs in the solar corona. I sent this discovery about fusion in the solar corona to many addresses. Some scientists congratulated me on my scientific discovery; most scientists were not interested; they did not understand the physical meaning of this discovery. There is not a single scientific proof that nuclear fusion occurs in the core of the Sun, only scientific speculation about it. If scientists do not understand the physical conditions under which nuclear fusion occurs in the Sun's atmosphere, this does not mean it does not exist. The discovery of thermonuclear fusion in the solar corona was made in the late 1980s. There is Vlasov's scientific theory on how fusion occurs in the solar corona, what physical conditions exist for fusion. The physical conditions of nuclear fusion in the solar corona do not invalidate the Lawson criterion. Recently, data from satellite data and research by scientists have emerged confirming the discovery of nuclear fusion in the solar corona.
I know how to create the physical conditions for nuclear fusion in a reactor like the solar corona. I know down to the last detail the physics of the process and what the physical conditions for fusion are in the solar corona. My knowledge of this allows me to build a working commercial reactor in two years. It is much cheaper to build a new commercial fusion reactor in a laboratory where an experimental fusion reactor already exists. The space probe recorded several hundred of the faintest solar flares of class A0.1. During its 278 days of operation, Coronas-Photon recorded 480 flares of class AO. 1, which may indicate that they are the ones, in part, warming up the Sun's corona.

No scientist in the world can explain how fusion occurs in the core of the Sun at ultra-high pressure, at ultra-high density and ultra-high viscosity, at ultra-high temperature, at a diameter of 1,392,684 kilometers. And all the more adequately explain the problem of coronal heating, the further transfer of heat from the core through 500,000 kilometers, through the photosphere into the solar corona. So far there are only near-scientific explanations and suggestions about how this can be, simply put, there are only scientific fantasies "explaining" the problem of coronal heating.
It follows that scientists have not yet solved this very important problem - the problem of heating the corona of the Sun. They have no explanation for this temperature paradox - the core of the Sun is 15,000,000 K, the photosphere - the visible surface of the Sun has a temperature of about 6000 K, and the solar corona has a temperature of 1,000,000 K.
