BACKGROUND
Mobile Calls Service provider flow is covered as per the Mobile Telecom Standard Tech Spec 3GPP TS 24.072. According to this, a mobile service must invoke the call deflection supplementary service by initiating call clearing with a “Disconnect” message including the call deflection request which must contain the “DeflectedToNumber” which may be accompanied by a “DeflectedToSubAddress”.
In plainspeak, currently when a call recipient receives an incoming, all the call recipient could to is get that call forwarded to the number pre-set by the call recipient. Irrespective of the caller whoever he/she might be, the call is forwarded to the pre-set number.
For this reason, many cell phone users avoid configuring call forwarding feature.

INTRODUCTION
The technology relates to service features provided by a phone system, and more particularly to a system and method to provide selective call forwarding facility. Through this technology, if a call recipient is not able to take the call, he/she have the following options,
Option A: Reject the call, this could go to the existing system/method to voicemail box or single pre-set number
Option B: Reject the call with forward option, based on the caller detail, Caller manually selects a contact person or contact group from his quick list. This selected contact details sent to mobile calls service provider for forwarding the call.

WORKING MECHANISM

The system includes a contact grouping module, configured to group a set of contacts for forwarding calls in real time. The system includes a call status detection module, configured to detect the real time calling status of the user.
The system includes an automated call forwarding message module, configured to pre-purpose a first message for forwarding an incoming call in accordance to selected contact from a set of grouped contacts.
The system includes a call forwarding acknowledgement module, configured to provide real time acknowledgement to the user about call forwarding status.
Here, a user may manually select a person from a pre-listed group and intimate the network service provider to forward the call to a selected person
The method includes grouping a set of contacts by a user for forwarding calls in real time.
The method also includes detecting the real time calling status of the user.
