• The main objective of this invention is targeted towards accuracy of Receiver’s Address and Sender’s address by changing the method of address data entry.
• Other objectives that are realised, post implementation of this invention are:
1. reduce the number of characters at data entry, over 80%, while maintaining optimal accuracy in address entry.
2. predict the outcome (delivery accuracy) before the item is booked for delivery service at the source location
3. create more time space to do additional work by reducing the processing time or data entry time
4. Reducing financial burden on the DSP (delivery service provider) towards UAA mails in sending the article, back to the sender (if required).
5. Add additional revenue to the working capital of the DSP.

The following is a synopsis of time saves per address:
If the average address length is near to 107 characters, the operator or the agent can save upto 83% of typing time., per address, as the agent will not need to type anymore, The more the number of characeters in address, the more saves it can generate.

The following is the dollar saves by converting time into currency
More Productivity means more dollars implies, time saved = dollars earned.
1. Considering the cost of data entry is 0.25 cents per address, an agent can generate $77.68 at 7.25 working hours per day (cost per address depends on the MSA – Master Service Agreement, if data entry work is outsourced to third party)
Calculating the same per month, the total savings comes up to $2,330.36 per agent (30 days x 77.68 (cost per day) = 2,230.36).
2. Considering the fact that data entry is time consuming and the nature of business is voluminous, if an AWB data entry team strength is 100 then the amount of revenue that is saved per month is 100 x 2,230.36 = $223,036.00.
