An intellectual process that simultaneously benefits a credit card company, merchants and consumers. Our patented process is entirely a new system that allows merchants to discount services and merchandise by the amount the customer spends and/or how frequently the card is used for merchants products or services. The merchants set all discounts parameters and discounts can be changed at merchants discretion. Discounts are provided immediately at the cash register, at time of purchase or service provided.
There are over 180 million credit card holders in the United States with over 300 million cards in service. Statistics show the average credit card holder receives between $100 to $300 annually in bonus points from credit card companies. Our process eliminates this expense while providing savings to customers through the discounts provided by the merchants. The system eliminates overhead cost to both the credit card companies and merchants while providing greater rewards to customers.
An automated method of employing a dynamic discount card payment program to enable a discount card-carrying consumer to pay a discount card-accepting service provider bill amount, such that a dynamic discount payment card computer system monitors modifications made, by a service provider, to a discount rate methodology and automatically calculates and applies the service provider-modified discount rate methodology to the service provider bill amount during processing of a corresponding consumer discount card-based payment of the provider bill amount.
