The invention is a brake that may be designed to work with either inline or quad skates. The brake can be universal/adjustable for aftermarket sales, or can be integrated by a skate manufacturer for virtually any skate.
The brake is the most powerful ever, with stopping power on-par with quality bicycle brakes. Activation of the brake is simple, and the body positioning required to apply the brake is natural and smooth.
Skaters from beginners to experts can, and do, use this brake.
The inability to stop easily has always been, and continues to be, the number one reason people either don't start skating, or the reason they do not continue skating.
The brake is known as "Gravity Master Skate Brake".
