Water Dissolvable and Completely Biodegradable Tape that removes painted road lines and decals.
Very cost effective compared to all known processes. This Tape can remove multiple layers of paint found on roads lines, in parking structures and on parking lots with one single application. The Paint Removal Tape dissolves completely with water upon completion. The plastic portion of the tape is completely water soluble/dissolvable similar to a “Tide Laundry Pod” and “Dish Washer Tablets”. The Tape is made of PVOH and is impervious to most chemicals yet dissolves rapidly in water. Notably the tape filled with a biodegradable paint remover - removes paint without damage to asphalt or concrete.
This Invention has been tested and refined on multiple paints and surfaces (substrates) over many years and has been found to be cost effective, easy to apply and can be used where many other processes cannot. This is especially true in parking structures where large machinery will not always fit or grinding is not allowed. As stated above, this Tape does not damage asphalt or concrete unlike commonly used methods such as grinding or surface scarifying which is a result in water injection blasting to remove built up paint lines.

You will notice how ALL the comparable processes (that you can view on YouTube) damage the asphalt or at the very least scar it permanently.
This process/product may be much more viable with the new "Trillion Dollar” Road and Infrastructure Bill that the new administration just passed. Why? Many new road construction projects install temporary traffic lines that need to be removed shortly after construction is completed. Damage often occurs when lines need to be removed on fresh “Asphalt” or “New Concrete” using common methods as outlined above whereas this “Biodegradable Stripping Tape” does not.
This Paint Removal Tape is adaptable allowing it to be manufactured in various sizes including large sizes for removing decals on roads and streets. Or, can easily be adapted to home market projects for removing paint and varnish from furniture, lawn equipment and numerous other home projects; all in a much safer manner. (Patented)

Present cost to produce the Tape 6" width x 1' (one) foot in length is (as of today's date) $0.60/per lineal foot
Contracts cost to apply the Tape (labor and Materials) ranges from $7.60 to as low as $2.80/per lineal foot - Higher quantities of footage of lines removed the less cost per lineal footage. As well as - the more layers of paint the Higher the price per foot.
