Blind-view cameras for cars
[Category : - Automotive Accessories ]
[Viewed 639 times]
Blind-view cameras for cars is an invention designed to reduce accidents in urban areas, where 85% of the USA lives. I myself live in an urban area and constantly experience issues safely pulling out of a driveway or parking lot due to my view of oncoming traffic being obscured by streetside-parked vehicles. My invention puts two cameras on the front of the vehicle, one facing left and one facing right. The front of the vehicle is typically several feet further forward than the driver seat. By pressing a button (flipping a switch, etc), the cameras send a feed to the dashboard monitor, acting like a horizontal periscope and allowing the driver to see around the obstacle almost entirely. The cameras create a wider angle of vision, allowing the driver to see cars coming from much further down the road, allowing them more time to gauge the safety of entering the flow of traffic.
