we are writing to let you know about our patented invention titled “SMART GLASS WITH SELF-SHOOTING FUNCTION”.

After engaging in research and development at the Japan Ministry of Defense, I am currently engaged in research and development of new products and technical advisor of a company.

By the way, telework has become more popular to prevent coronavirus infection, and the need for visual communication has increased significantly. However, there are still issues with videophones and videoconferencing systems, and one of them is that it is pointed out that the lines of sight of the people who are interacting do not match.

About this issue, we made the following patented invention (Japan Patent Office patent No. 5720068 “Smart glass with self-photographing function”) .

This Japan patented invention is the only camera that can shoot your own face in a hands-free manner. If hands-free conversation can be done while looking at each other, it will be possible to set up a conference room in a virtual space and recognize who is talking to whom.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart glass with a self-shooting function capable of shooting the shoulder and thereabove of the user onself from directly in front while wearing, and allowing a user and the opposite user to adjust the line of sight to face each other in television telephone, or the like.SOLUTION: A smart glass (see-through type head-mounted display) for use in television telephone and the like includes a camera having a fisheye lens or a wide-angle lens, and fixing means such as an arm for connecting and fixing the camera to the smart glass. The camera can be fixed to a position capable of shooting the shoulder and thereabove of the user wearing the smart glass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
