Improvements in or relating to pile head removal

A device 1 for assisting with the breaking of a pile head 7 off a reinforced concrete pile comprises a plastic hollow section placed, in use, at a cut-off level of a pile reinforcement cage of the reinforced concrete pile to form a weak point and facilitate the removal of the pile head. The device is a trapezium shape in plan and the internal volume may be filled with a pressurised gas. The edges of the device may be chamfered. Also disclosed is a device for assisting with the breaking of a pile head comprising an external face intended in use to extend towards, or to lie at, or to extend beyond a surface of the reinforced concrete pile.


Financial information

I invented novaslice with the intention to improve the health & safety and production aspects of the removal of pile heads operation in construction sites. I would like to pass it on to a company that would be willing to take it to the next level and use it across the world in construction sites, or perhaps merge it with another technology in a different field.
