A device for disinfecting a surface, the device comprising a canister configured to contain a liquid therein under pressure, the liquid comprising a disinfecting substance including a lactic acid and/or an octanoic acid, and wherein the canister comprises an actuation portion wherein actuation of the actuation portion causes the continuous discharge of the pressurised liquid from the canister.
