A system to increase sales by understanding what aesthetic features (styles) drive sales. This can be used to optimize inventory, recommend products, and design new products. For example, typical style names in furniture like "contemporary" or "transitional" do not meaningfully differentiate products within a category like dining chairs or coffee tables. Thus, the vendor must rely on intuition to predict how new products would sell. This system analyzes the aesthetic attributes of products on a granular level to predict consumer preference for new items, based on the aesthetic attributes of the items. This informs both product selection for vendors, and product design.
