"Method of washing shoes on a rack in a drum washing machine"
The main purpose of the application of this invention is to enable the washing of textile footwear in typical commercial drum washing machines. A simple frame on which the shoes are attached centers the weight of the shoes during spinning, and positions the soles towards the center of the drum, which allows water to drain from the spinning shoes. The invention has been filed with the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, number P.434725. There is a working and practically proven prototype.
Other significant advantages of the washing method tested on a working prototype:
1) Quiet operation of the washing machine during washing, without the characteristic knocking of shoes falling over in the drum.
2) Most often, the delicate textile fabric from which the shoe is sewn in a traditional wash rubs violently against the soles of the other shoe, which may leave marks on the fabric. In the proposed method, it is possible to wash shoes decorated with accessories such as embroidery, inscriptions, etc.
3) Side positioning of the shoes on the rack so that the heavier elastic sole of the shoe does not move towards the drum cylinder during washing, which allows for very good water separation due to the water outflow being not blocked.
4) Centrifugation with this method is performed with a very large process culture without vibrations or beatings even at 1400 rpm. After spinning, the shoes can be worn immediately because the soles do not retain water in the above-mentioned position.
5) Even with hand washing, you can use the spin-only rack to separate the water.
6) Other advantages of washing two mops were tested and found that the washing machine was very quiet, the mops were well washed and the spin was vibration free.
7) The absence of knocking inside the drum and no beating during spinning increases the washing machine's life. The washing machine does not move on the floor (there are no creases in the drum plate and the vibration dampers do not wear out).
8) The rack is suitable for drum washing machines from 6kg-10kg. washing.
