A portable device (100) and a portable system are presented. The portable device (100) comprises a compartment (50) for receiving a battery (55), a space (12) for receiving an object (10) which temperature is to be controlled, an electrical heating element (22) arranged or adapted to be arranged into the space (12), and at least one temperature sensor (24) arranged or adapted to be arranged into the space (12) for determining a temperature (91) inside the space (12). The device (100) further comprises a controlling unit (20) and indication means (26; 90) for indicating to a user a safe storage of the object (10). The controlling unit (20) is arranged in connection with the temperature sensor (24) and configured for controlling the temperature (91) by the electrical heating element (22) based on the determined temperature (91).
