Coffee brewing apparatus

A coffee brewer which can coveniently prepare either hot or cold coffee. The brewer consists of a filter body and two reservoirs. The filter body is a hollow cylinder with male threaded ends. A mesh filter is affixed to interior of the filter body. Two self-supporting reservoirs have female threads near their ends. Coffee grounds and either hot or cold water are added to one of the reservoirs. The apparatus is then assembled by joining both reservoirs to each end of the filter body. After a period of time (several minutes for a hot coffee or overnight for cold brewed coffee), the entire apparatus is inverted to filter out the coffee grounds. The apparatus is then disassembled and the beverage is ready to drink from the reservoir.

This coffee brewer is ideal for the preparation of cold-brewed coffees, as the apparatus may be placed in a refrigerator overnight and be quickly disassembled and ready to consume in the morning.
