The product under consideration introduces a pencil case which is designed for primary school level pupils. In addition to the traditional function of a pencil case, this design offers three additional functions. The first function is to show the school time table for the six school days from Saturday to Thursday, eight classes per day. The product is therefore named PECASTA ,
PECASTA is designed to make the interaction of pupils with the learning process fun and amusing since the pupils can assemble the school time table by themselves or with help from their parents. In case of any changes to the time table, the pupil can disassemble the PECASTA time table and then reassemble it again.
The second function that the PECASTA provides is to show the multiplication table for the numbers from one to twelve, one row at a time for quick and easy reference.
The third function that the PECASTA serves is to help the teacher and the parents teach the pupil how to tell the time, since the bottom of the PECASTA has a dummy clock face with the periphery of the dial numbered 1 through 12 and two rotating hands are provided. One long hand for minutes and another short hand for hours.
Each pupil can fill in their own personal information (name, school, class and phone number) in case their PECASTA is lost.
PECASTA has a built-in LED light to enable the pupil to view the time table in a dark surrounding (for example, in their bedroom before going to sleep).
