This drill attachment PAT-PEND..will make cleaning the O.D. ends of pipes, tubes, shafts, rods, etc. Exponentially faster and safer than ever before. By inserting (Consumable) sanding tubes, PAT. PEND. The housing is then simply attached to the drill and away you go. 4 to 6 inches of the O.D will be cleaned in seconds. No more pipe belt sander, no more hands on twisting back and forth.
Original filing with the USPTO was 10/2018. And a P.C.T. application was filed 10/2019. This tool will cover an overall Vast and Stable market including Plumbing, HVAC installation, General and Maintenance Contractors, Auto Mechanics, Auto Parts MFG, Aircraft & Rail Maintenance companies, Land Development, Woodworking and the general public. According to the bureau of labor statistics in the U.S. there are approximately 3,000,000 businesses that are potential users of this product. The above number does not include supply industries of each of these businesses or the unknown but quite high number of consumer purchases for at home work. If this drill attachment were to capture only 1% of this total, that would be 30,000 units @ $49.99 this would be approximately $1,500,000 in sales. Factoring a 50% cost of goods and 60% expenses there would be a profit of approximately $300,000 per 30,000 units or 1% of the market sold. This does not take into consideration the sales of the consumable sanding tubes as well.
