Graphene obtained by exfoliation of graphite particles is characterized by the fact that the graphite particles are subjected to electrodynamic liquefaction in a vacuum, wherein the energy of the graphite particles exceeds the work necessary for the particles to split along cleavage planes into graphene layers during brittle fracture on impact with electrodes. The method makes it possible to produce graphene with high levels of yield, economy, and product purity.
