Smash and Grab is easiest form of auto crime that is hard to predict and yet it is easy to deter with the right sensors and security system
The current solutions in the market are expensive, unreliable and often require aftermarket upgrades or manual calibration by the end user. There is no OEM standard solution.
We have conducted our own study of theft victims, and at least 2 out of 5 had their windows broken and valuables stolen while they were in the immediate vicinity running quick errands. On average, monetary loss to each victim is a costly $600.
In many cases, it is also almost impossible to completely remove valuables from the vehicles, for example; tourists, families running errands and police vehicles.
Introducing Shatter Alert, a film based sensor that requires no calibration, detects surface cracks reliably and immediately, and it is practically immune to false alarms.
Shatter Alert is based on the principle of vacuum technology, combined with the simplicity of the film design enables our technology to be easily installed and readily integrated with existing alarm systems.
