Our technology is a dry material separator. The design is a double helix in shape and tubular in structure. The interior helix is comprised of many openings for the fine materials to migrate through to the outer helix which is solid. This device has no moving parts. The material enters the top of the device and moves dynamically down and around the unique geometry of the helix, thus the material is separated by size, weight and structural characteristics.rnThis patented separator represents a step change to existing material separation systems/devices. Because this device has no moving parts, optimizes gravity and the unique geometry of the design, it efficiently captures and contains all fine material. The device was created to remove dust from wood pellets at the point-of-use in the home. The shrouded helix is supported by a bucket where the fine material is deposited. The clean pellets collect in an adjacent container, successfully de-dusted and ready to use in the stove. The clean pellets represent premium fuel for the stove, achieving the efficiencies as intended by the manufacturer.
