A plumbing fixture contains a siphon mechanism which is jointly formed by the body of the fixture and a removable element which is mounted in a recess in the inside surface of the body itself and which is in communication with a drain aperture. The invention provides for more convenient access to the siphon mechanism, thus simplifying the installation and use of the siphon mechanism of a plumbing fixture and making it possible to clean the mechanism and sewage pipes from the working surface of the body of the plumbing fixture.rn
