Intake from guttering downpipe 1 is diverted via internal water diversion baffle 3 and flows to outlet to storage tank 5 or alternative outlet to storage tank 6. When the storage tank(s) are full water level rises and flows over internal water diversion baffle 4 down to outlet to guttering downpipe 2. Arrows 8 indicate direction of water being forced back to downpipe caused by the storage tank(s) being full. Guttering downpipe needed to be removed to fit the unit is shown as measurement 7. Please note photo's are unfortunately of a square unit put into a round down pipe. the units can be made for square or round down pipes.
