The patent discloses a new method for controlling devices by means of hand gestures. The disclosed method is substantially more accurate than state-of-the art while affording increased ergonomics and user experience. It is based on eye-hand coordination and tracking of human intentions. Such technology is of great interest for the automotive and consumer electronics industries.

Certain systems, methods, means and computer program products may identify a graphical object based on geometric relationships between two or more user body parts and the graphical object. Certain systems, methods, means and computer program products identify a graphical object based on analysis of pictorial images depicting positions of user body parts relative to each other.
